My Naat Book Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

My Naat Book, published by Al-Qadri, respects your privacy. The app is designed primarily for reading devotional poetry and does not require an account.

Information stored on your device

Preferences and app activity such as favourites, reading position, cached Naat catalogue data and display preferences may be stored locally on your device so the app can provide its features and continue working when you are offline. This information is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Remote Naat library and content updates

My Naat Book checks an online content source for the latest published Naat catalogue. This allows new Naats, translations and corrections to appear without requiring an App Store or Play Store update. The latest catalogue may be cached on your device for faster loading and offline access.

When the app connects to the content host, the hosting provider may automatically process standard technical information such as your IP address, request time and device/network information needed to deliver the file.

Notifications

If you choose to allow notifications, My Naat Book may use a push-notification provider together with Apple Push Notification service on iOS and the relevant Google/Android notification infrastructure on Android to deliver messages such as alerts that a new Naat has been added. Push services may process a device or subscription identifier and technical delivery information needed to send the notification.

Notification permission is optional. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings. My Naat Book does not use push-notification identifiers for advertising or behavioural profiling.

Information you choose to submit

My Naat Book includes features that allow users to suggest a Naat and submit corrections or feedback. When you use these features, the app opens your device's email application with a message addressed to AlQadri1078@gmail.com. Nothing is sent until you review the email and choose to send it.

Information you send is used only to review submissions, respond where appropriate, improve the app and maintain the Naat collection.

How information is used

My Naat Book does not use submitted information, remote-library requests or notification identifiers for advertising, behavioural profiling or cross-app tracking.

Third-party services

The app may use third-party infrastructure for content hosting, email delivery and push notifications. This may include the service hosting the remote Naat catalogue, Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) for notification delivery, including Apple Push Notification service on Apple devices and Firebase/Google notification infrastructure on Android. These providers process information according to their own privacy terms and only as necessary to provide those services.

Sharing of information

Personal information is not sold to advertisers or data brokers. Information may be processed by service providers where necessary to deliver app content, notifications, email submissions and feedback, or disclosed where required by law.

Data retention and deletion

Cached catalogue data and preferences remain on the device until they are replaced, cleared or the app is removed. Push providers may retain delivery and subscription data according to their own retention policies. Information you submit by email may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to review the submission, respond, maintain records or improve the app. You may request deletion of information you have submitted by contacting AlQadri1078@gmail.com.

Children

My Naat Book is a general devotional reading application. Users should avoid submitting unnecessary personal information through suggestion or feedback features.

Security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect information handled through the app. However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the app's features, remote-content system, notification services or data-handling practices change. The latest version will be available in the app.
